Riverfront Museum
The new Riverfront Museum is opening October 20, 2012! This is a very exciting time for Peoria!

- explore two galleries filled with unique hands-on activities, where kids of all ages grow and learn by doing.
- enjoy the 30,000-square-foot gallery bringing the best traveling exhibitions to Peoria—from Fine Arts and the Sciences to History and Achievement.
- visit the new gallery showcasing the museum's expansive collection of fine art and folk art and much more.
- view stars and galaxies on a cutting-edge planetarium projection system that is the first of its kind in the Western Hemisphere.
- watch movies in a theater that is so big that viewers become immersed in the experience
